Hours:

8am - 4pm. 35 Hours Per week. Monday - Friday

The role of Leisure and Hospitality Manager

Manage the daily operations of leisure and hospitality facilities, including the swimming pool, gym, and onsite restaurant. Deliver a high-quality experience for residents, guests, and other customers by ensuring all services consistently meet high standards of safety, quality, and customer care. Drive revenue growth from the restaurant through effective marketing, menu planning, and budget management. Provide strong leadership to service teams, develop robust policies and procedures, and promote resident engagement and continuous improvement across all areas. Ensure the safe operation of the swimming pool and fitness suite at all times. Delivery of compliant and high-quality leisure and hospitality services . Effective leadership and motivation of operational teams. Assist and Cover the Housing Manager. Safe and efficient operation of leisure facilities, ensuring regulatory compliance. Exceptional customer service and resident experience. Commercial management to achieve income and cost targets. Policy, planning and continuous improvement initiatives

Essential Criteria

Proven experience managing leisure and/or hospitality services in a customer-facing environment. Knowledge of swimming pool operations, food hygiene, and health and safety regulations. Demonstrated leadership skills, including team development and performance management. Ability to develop policies and processes for leisure and hospitality, write reports with recommendations. Financial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively. Ability to work collaboratively across departments to provide a high-quality customer experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach. Experience developing policies, delivering training, and managing change. Pool Plant Operator certification or commitment to obtain within 6 months of appointment

Desirable Criteria

Experience with sales and marketing activities in a hospitality or leisure environment. Qualification in leisure, hospitality, or management. Familiarity with digital tools for rota management, budgeting and service evaluation.
