We're entering an exciting chapter at Dovedale Leisure Centre, with a major refurbishment set to be completed by January 2026. These include an expanded gym area, a brand-new studio, modernised changing rooms and a contemporary reception area.
These improvements are designed to enhance the experience for our customers--and we're looking for passionate individuals to help bring this vision to life.
Are you passionate about sport and leisure? We're looking for energetic and motivated individuals to join our team as Leisure Assistants, helping to deliver an exciting programme of activities at Dovedale Leisure Centre.
In this customer-facing role, the successful applicant will support the day-to-day operations. The key responsibilities will include assisting customers both in person and over the phone, managing bookings through our digital system, handling membership sales and payment processing, and preparing and tidying away equipment for a range of activities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to start or grow their career in the leisure industry. Ideal candidates will have a keen interest in sport, excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to work daytime, evenings, and weekends.
These part-time positions are available to support the opening hours of Dovedale Leisure Centre: 6:30am-12:00pm and 5:00pm-11:00pm on weekdays, and 7:00am-9:00pm on weekends. Shifts will operate on a two-week rotating schedule to ensure coverage across these times.
