What You'll Do:



As a Leisure Attendant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all visitors to our leisure centres. Whether you're lifeguarding, setting up activity areas, or maintaining high standards of cleanliness, your contribution will directly impact the experience of every customer. You'll also work closely with a supportive team to ensure safe and effective operations in line with council policies and procedures.




Key Responsibilities Include:




Lifeguarding and ensuring the safety of all customers, especially around the swimming pool and activity areas Carrying out routine checks (e.g., water temperature, chemical levels) to ensure a safe environment. Providing high levels of customer service and responding to customer feedback Maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility, including changing areas, floors, and equipment Ensuring safe and effective use of all facilities and equipment



What We're Looking For:




Essential:

+ A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (or the ability to attain it prior to starting)
+ Ability to work effectively in a team and use initiative.
+ Good communication skills and a customer-first approach
+ Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Desirable:

+ Experience in lifeguarding or leisure operations
+ Knowledge of health and safety regulations and COSHH standards
