Are you passionate about housing and customer service? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, mobile role where no two days are the same? Paradigm Housing Group is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Lettings, Allocations & Viewings Officer to join our team.
This is a demand-led role, meaning you'll be working across our full property portfolio, travelling to sites throughout the South East to carry out viewings, tenancy sign-ups, and pre-tenancy assessments. You'll play a key part in helping customers move into their new homes, ensuring properties are let quickly, safely, and in line with our policies and standards.
Please note: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use is essential. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider applicants who do not meet this requirement.
Location of Head Office: Wooburn Green, High Wycombe
Travel across: Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire and surrounding counties
What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out viewings and tenancy sign-ups for relet and new build homes
• Managing the lettings process from start to finish, including pre-tenancy checks, risk assessments, and key handovers
• Working closely with internal teams and external partners to identify customer support needs and ensure successful tenancy sustainment
• Advertising and marketing properties through local authority waiting lists, CBL schemes, and other platforms
• Supporting vulnerable customers by applying reasonable adjustments and making referrals to support services
• Ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards across all lettings
• Attending site visits and scheme briefings, and contributing to the development of new housing schemes
• Maintaining accurate tenancy records and performance data

What We're Looking For
Essential:

• Experience in local authority lettings, allocations, or housing functions
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to negotiate financial arrangements with customers
• Knowledge of succession, mutual exchange, and decant processes
• Understanding of welfare benefits and affordability assessments
• Strong IT skills and attention to detail
• Confident, self-motivated, and able to manage your own workload
• Comfortable working with financial data and tenancy documentation

Preferred:

• Knowledge of multiple property tenures (e.g. shared ownership, leasehold, assured tenancies)
• Technical or professional qualification in housing or property

While the role is initially for 12 months, our size (over 650 employees and a turnover exceeding 150m) means there's always potential for longer-term opportunities. The position could be extended, made permanent, or lead to other suitable roles within the organisation.
