Overview


We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Lettings and Property Manager to oversee rental properties and ensure smooth operations within our portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, a solid understanding of property management regulations, and excellent communication abilities.

This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and proactive problem-solving are essential. The position requires comprehensive knowledge of landlord-tenant law, fair housing regulations, and property leasing processes, with experience in property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS preferred. A background in legal administrative work and real estate administration will be highly advantageous.

Duties



Manage the leasing process from tenant screening to lease signing, ensuring compliance with Housing regulations. Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards. Handle tenant inquiries, resolve conflicts professionally, and maintain positive relationships through excellent customer service and phone etiquette. Oversee legal administrative tasks including contracts, lease agreements, and documentation related to landlord-tenant law. Utilise property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS for data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records of tenants, leases, payments, and maintenance requests. Conduct property inspections, facilitate move-ins/move-outs, and manage vacancy listings to maximise occupancy rates through effective upselling and sales techniques. Collaborate with vendors and contractors for property repairs or upgrades while managing budgets and contracts efficiently. Ensure compliance with all applicable housing laws and regulations. Maintain detailed reports on property performance, occupancy status, and tenant interactions for internal review.

Skills



Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Housing regulations, and property management administrative procedures. Proficiency in property management software such as Arthur; experience with data entry, filing systems, and CRM tools. Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette; ability to handle conflict management effectively. Experience in property leasing processes from marketing to negotiation of contracts; upselling skills are a plus. Legal administrative experience related to lease agreements, contracts, or housing regulations preferred. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for data entry, filing systems, and maintaining accurate records. Ability to negotiate effectively with tenants, vendors, or contractors while adhering to legal standards. Facilities management knowledge, including property maintenance coordination and vendor relations. Office experience combined with administrative expertise in handling multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role is integral to maintaining high standards of property management while providing exceptional service to tenants and stakeholders alike. We seek a dedicated professional committed to operational excellence within the real estate sector. Experience with HMOs, Blocks of Apartments and Commercial Rentals preferred. Experience in running a letting agency preferred.
