Purpose of the position:



tlc Estate Agents, a leading estate agency based in Kensington and Chelsea, is looking for a proactive and organised individual to join our Lettings Accounts team. You will collaborate closely with the Lettings and Property Management Team to ensure the department operates efficiently, remains well-organised, and delivers exceptional service. Building strong, lasting relationships with our Landlords and Tenants is at the heart of what we do. This department plays a pivotal role in the business, as getting the financials right is our top priority. When we demonstrate excellence in managing our Clients' financials, we earn their trust in all aspects of our service, creating lifelong relationships.


Key Responsibilities:




Build Strong Relationships

: Establish trust and maintain excellent communication with Landlords and Tenants to foster lasting relationships.

Daily Bank Reconciliation

: Ensure rents are collected and Landlords, contractors, and third parties are paid on time.

Tenants and Landlords arrears chasers

: Ensure all arrears are chased in line with regulatory bodies guidelines.

Payment Runs

: Make sure all Landlords, Tenants and Contractors are paid in a timely manner.

File Management

: Maintain meticulous records, ensuring all files are audit-ready to meet Propertymark standards.

Handle Queries and Processes

: Respond promptly to queries, manage deposits with DPS, chase arrears, implement rent increases, and oversee Landlord floats, working closely with the Lettings and Property Management team.

Non-Resident Landlord Scheme

: Understanding of the scheme for data entry purposes and to ensure compliance.

Skills and Qualifications:




GCSEs or A-Levels, particularly in Mathematics or Accounting, or equivalent. At least 2 years previous experience in Lettings Client Accounts is essential. Working towards or an interest in obtaining a professional qualification (e.g., Propertymark, AAT, ACCA, CIMA) is advantageous. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and enthusiastic to contribute to a team environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly both verbally and in writing. Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Reapit knowledge is highly desirable. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
