Client Accounts Administrator Remote Full-Time

At Happy Agent, we provide expert outsourced property management and client accounting services to letting and estate agents, ensuring seamless tenancy administration, compliance, renewals, and financial processes. We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Client Accounts Administrator to join our remote team, managing client money and financial reporting across multiple agents with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Client Accounting: Manage daily financial transactions for multiple agents, including rent collection, supplier payments, and landlord disbursements. Reconciliations & Reporting: Perform regular bank reconciliations, maintain accurate ledgers, and prepare financial reports. Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to client money protection regulations and industry standards. Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve account queries, discrepancies, and payment issues in a timely manner. Communication: Liaise professionally with letting agents, landlords, tenants, and contractors regarding payments and account matters. Process Management: Support smooth month-end and year-end processes and continuously improve internal procedures. Ownership & Accountability: Take full ownership of your assigned agents, managing their accounts with precision and confidence.
What We're Looking For:

Experience in client accounting, finance, or property accounts Strong understanding of client money protection and accounting principles Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Confident using accounting systems and spreadsheets (e.g. Excel) o Great communication skills and a professional, proactive attitude Ability to work independently in a remote environment Experience with lettings or property accounting is essential
