We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Property manager to join our friendly and dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective management of our current portfolio, providing exceptional service to both property owners and tenants and ensuring compliance is met for our property portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and organisational skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and provide fantastic customer service. The job role is office based, Monday - Friday 9am-5.30pm and 1 in 3 Saturdays 10am - 1pm.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of property management, ensuring properties are well-maintained and compliant with regulations.
Ensuring compliance certificates are in date, organised, instructed and correctly input to our data base.
Serve as a point of contact for property owners and tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Arrange and conduct property inspections and provide updates to the Landlord.
Prepare and manage documentation and managing of invoices/ payments in accordance with tenancies.
Advising landlords with end of tenancy processes and formalising the deposit release process.
Assist with renewal agreements and yearly rent increases to tenants.
Maintain accurate records of property performance, tenant communications, and financial transactions.
Collaborate with contractors and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Develop and implement strategies for improving tenant satisfaction and retention.
Assist with ensuring rents are paid and processed in accordance with the due date
Assist in responding to enquiries, arranging viewings and providing feedback to Landlords.
Ensuring lettings compliance is met
General day to day office tasks
Experience
Proven experience in property management or a related field is required.
Strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proficient in using property management software
Must hold a full UK driving license and have a personal car
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
