Want to train as a Groundworker while earning and learning on a real site?
We're recruiting for a Groundworker Apprentice to join a large new build project in Hackney.
This role offers hands-on experience alongside skilled tradespeople and includes full support to complete your Level 2 Groundworker Apprenticeship.

What You'll Be Doing:

Learn groundworking skills on a live construction site Work alongside experienced tradespeople and site supervisors Assist with tasks including excavation, laying foundations, drainage, and concreting Contribute to the smooth running of daily site operations Follow instructions and maintain excellent attendance and punctuality

What We're Looking For:

Aged 18 or over (no upper age limit) Currently working towards or previously completed a Construction Diploma, or relevant experience in groundworking GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English CSCS Card holder Good references from a tutor or previous employer

Must be a resident of the London Borough of Hackney

Personal Qualities:

Strong work ethic and physical resilience Reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude Able to work well with a range of people Good attention to detail and communication skills Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

What's On Offer:

12.25 per hour / 490 per week Full-time apprenticeship (40 hours per week) Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday Free tools and PPE provided Support to complete Level 2 Groundworker Apprenticeship Potential progression into full-time employment as an improver upon successful completion
