Nursery Assistant to join our early years team. The successful candidate will support the development and well-being of children within a nurturing environment, ensuring their safety and fostering their growth through engaging activities. You will also need to be
willing to complete your Level 3 or equivalent in childcare and education.

Duties
Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
Support children with daily routines, including meal times, naps, and hygiene practices
Supervise children both indoors and outdoors, ensuring their safety at all times
Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and physical development
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and behaviour
Collaborate with senior staff to ensure the smooth running of nursery operations
Support management in organising activities and managing classroom resources
Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns
Assist with general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for children
Skills
Previous experience with children or in a nursery setting is highly desirable
Strong organisational skills to oversee daily activities efficiently
Leadership qualities to guide and support young children effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare best practices
Ability to engage children in educational play and activities that stimulate development
Compassionate, patient, and attentive nature with a genuine passion for childcare
