Job Description
The Secret Garden Attenborough Day Nursery is small homely nursery and Pre-school based in the quiet village of Attenborough.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, committed and caring individual to join our nursery team.
Shifts between 7:30 and 6pm.
Qualifications, qualities and experience required:
Level 2 or 3 in childcare Knowledge and experience of working with the EYFS Experience of working within a nursery setting Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a team Ability to use own initiative to create innovative learning opportunities for the children in the room.
Main Duties:
To work in partnership with parents and carers To offer a high standard of care and education to the children within the setting To work well within a team to ensure the smooth running of the room Assist in ensuring the nursery provides a safe, happy and stimulating environment for individual children and enable them to meet their full potential. To observe, plan and evaluate appropriately for children using the EYFS To be key person to a group of children and plan for their next steps in learning involving parents Undertake a shared responsibility for health, safety and cleanliness throughout the nursery.
