About Us:

BTD Coaching provides high-energy, inclusive and enjoyable sports sessions for children aged 4-12. We believe in creating a safe space where children can grow in confidence, learn new skills and build positive relationships through sport. Our coaching approach is friendly, encouraging and centred around helping every child feel valued.

The Role:

We are seeking a reliable, confident and enthusiastic Level 2 Sports Coach to deliver after-school clubs and evening sessions within the Fareham area. We are particularly interested in coaches with a Level 2 Football (UEFA C) or Level 2 Dodgeball qualification. We are also open to coaches qualified in other sports who bring strong energy and passion to the role.

You can choose to:

Deliver pre-existing planned sessions Take ownership of launch and development of new sessions or programmes
This role suits someone who enjoys leading groups, building rapport with children and contributing to a positive coaching culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver fun, safe and engaging sports sessions Support children of varied abilities and confidence levels Create a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation Communicate with staff, parents and the BTD Coaching team in a professional manner Ensure safeguarding and health & safety standards are upheld

What We're Looking For:

Level 2 Coaching qualification in Football, Dodgeball or equivalent sport A positive, friendly and encouraging coaching style Reliable, organised and confident leading groups independently Experience working with children Valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) First Aid qualification (preferred but not essential)

Pay:

Competitive and varied depending on experience and qualifications.
