We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a swimming teacher in our Swim Academy programme (4-10 years of age).

Key Information

Part Time, Permanent Position 18.00 - 21.50 per hour All equipment is provided 12.07% holiday pay added to monthly pay
The role is for the following shifts:

Mondays 15:45-18:45 Wednesdays 15:45-19:15

You should have one of the following qualifications;

STA Level 2 Award in Swimming Swim England Level 2 in Swimming Teaching Approved Lifesaving qualification

You must be able to swim 25 metres and swim down to the deep end of a pool

If you are not currently in the possession of the required qualifications we will still consider your application.

All our teachers carry out further in house training before they start teaching for Puddle Ducks, consisting of;

1-2 day internal training course to be completed (may be outside of Suffolk) Extensive online training Co-teaching with experienced teachers Training rate, 12.75 per hour

Responsibilities

Instruct and supervise swimming lessons for children ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment. Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote water safety and swimming skills. Monitor swimmers' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their swimming abilities. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the swimming area and equipment.
