Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Instructor to join our aquatic team on Saturday's at

4pm -7pm.

Additional hours after first term can be offered.

Location:

St. Joseph's College SE19 3HL

The ideal candidate will possess a

level 2 swimming qualifications and NRSTAC or other lifequarding qualifications.

Strong enthusiasm for teaching swimming skills and promoting water safety for small groups with ratio 1:4 and adults 1:5

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment, helping individuals of all ages develop confidence and competence in the water. Prior experience in swimming teaching is highly desirable, and the position offer grat rates of pay for the right candidate.

We are teaching term time only meaning all main bank holidays and half-term you will be able to get time off .

Duties

Conduct swimming lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement Ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed during lessons Maintain a clean and organised poolside environment Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that motivates learners to achieve their goals

Experience

Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage learners of varying ages and abilities Knowledge of water safety standards and swimming techniques Enthusiasm for working with diverse groups and promoting healthy activity through swimming Certification in lifeguarding or first aid is advantageous but not essential; training can be provided for suitable candidates

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 25.00-29.50 per hour
