Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for swimming and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate young individuals . As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swimming instruction in a safe and enjoyable environment, fostering a love for the water while ensuring that all participants develop their swimming skills effectively.

Duties

Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups, adapting instruction to meet diverse skill levels. Develop lesson plans that focus on safety, technique and progression in swimming skills. Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience. Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and maintaining a vigilant watch over swimmers. Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress and any concerns. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pool area before, during and after lessons.

Requirements

Swimming Teachers Certificate (Minnimum Level 2) Experience in delivering customer service Experience in delivering swimming lessons and producing lesson plans
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 21.85 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 2.5 per week
