Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and a desire to educate individuals of all ages in swimming techniques and water safety. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment while ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants.

Responsibilities

Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups, catering to various skill levels from beginners to advanced swimmers. Develop tailored lesson plans that focus on improving swimming techniques, water safety, and confidence in the water. Educate students about the importance of water safety and proper swimming practices. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement. Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all participants during lessons. Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress, concerns, or any necessary adjustments to lesson plans. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance instructional skills and knowledge of aquatic safety standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in sports coaching or swim instruction is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students of varying ages. A genuine passion for teaching and educating others about swimming and water safety. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Relevant certifications in swim instruction or lifeguarding are an advantage but not mandatory; training may be provided for the right candidate. Must be able to demonstrate proficient swimming skills and knowledge of various swimming techniques.
