We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and an understanding of water safety. This role involves instructing individuals of various ages and skill levels, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting a love for swimming. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a crucial role in developing swimming skills and ensuring the safety of all participants.
Responsibilities
Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups, tailoring instruction to meet the needs of each participant.
Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and water safety practices.
Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
Create engaging lesson plans that promote learning while ensuring safety in the water.
Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians regarding progress and any concerns.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in swim instruction.
Requirements
Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety protocols.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students of all ages.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred; willingness to obtain certifications if not currently held.
A positive attitude, patience, and enthusiasm for teaching others how to swim.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 15.00-20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 5 per week
