LEVEL 3 CHILDCARE WORKER (not Health & Social Care)

MUST HAVE A CHILDCARE QUALIFICATION

Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities
- Supervise children during playtime, meals
- Assist with basic hygiene tasks such as nappy changes, toileting, and handwashing
- Monitor children's behaviour and intervene when necessary to maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns that may arise, the ability to support behaviour

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is essential
- First Aid certification in date, or be willing to attend training on a Saturday/ evenings
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and co-workers
- Ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
