We are looking for a Level 3 Early Years Apprentice to join our growing team on a full-time basis.
We are a small, but very busy and popular private day nursery based in Accrington (round the corner from Accrington Victoria Hospital). We are looking for someone who is very passionate about working with children, who enjoys learning and teaching children, and preparing them for their next learning journey onto school.
Experience and Knowledge required
To be able to work as a team, using excellent communication skills.
Be able communicate effectively with all our children and parents.
Must have good written skills to complete children's learning journeys and assessments to parents via our Famly app.
Ensuring that you have good punctuality and attendance to ensure that our nursery ratios are always met at all times to keep our children safe.
At least one years experience of working within a nursery environment - desired
Desired Experiences and Knowledge
Level 2 in childcare and education - completed desirable or experience with children 0-5 years
12 hour Paediatric First Aid - desired but will be provided
Food Hygiene - desired but will be provided
Level 1 Safeguarding Children Training - desired but will be provided

Pay: From 8.00 per hour
