Fernlea Pre-School is a community-run term-time establishment dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education in a nurturing environment. Located in a purpose-built facility within a school complex, we maintain our autonomy while serving up to 40 children.

Summary

We are seeking an Early Years Educator to join our passionate team at Fernlea Pre-School. In this role, you will play a vital part in fostering the development and well-being of young children, creating engaging learning experiences that support their growth.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging educational activities that promote early learning and development. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and education. Support children's social and emotional development through positive interactions. Maintain accurate records of children's achievements and developmental milestones.

Requirements

Current, relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education & Childcare Level 3. We would concider a level 2 applicant if the right fit for the position, or a job share. 08.15 - 3.45 Monday to Friday. (Start and finish times cannot be changed). Experience working with young children in a nursery or pre-school setting is essential. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff. A passion for early years education and child development.
