We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our childcare team in picturesque Kemsing, Sevenoaks. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the developmental and educational needs of young children, fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage
Supervise children during play, meal times, and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety at all times
Support children's emotional well-being by providing comfort, encouragement, and positive reinforcement
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive and organised learning environment
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
Assist with organising daily routines such as nap times, meal times, and educational sessions
Uphold health and safety regulations within the nursery or childcare setting
Requirements
CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Current Paediatric First Aid Certificate
Proven experience working with children, ideally within a nursery or early years setting
Sound knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding procedures and ofsted standards
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices
