Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated full-time Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
We are a small but very busy nursery setting based in Accrington.
Experience and Knowledge required
- Good knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Curriculum to be able to plan effectively.
- To have knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding Children, meeting the welfare requirements and following our policies and procedures relating to safeguarding and the setting's other policies we have - Training will be given
- To be able to work as a team, using excellent communication skills.
- Must have good written skills to complete children's learning journeys and summative reports for parents/carers and other professionals involved with the children.
- Ensuring that you have good punctuality and attendance to ensure that our nursery ratios are met at all times.
- Passionate for working with children helping them learn, develop and thrive throughout their nursery journey.
Desired Experiences and Knowledge
-At least one years experience of working in a nursery environment
-12 hour Paediatric First Aider - desired
-Food Hygiene - desired
-Level 1 Safeguarding Children Training - desired training will be provided.
-Level 3 in Childcare and Education completed and passed or working towards - Essential
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
