We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our growing childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of young children, creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood education standards.
Supervise and support children during play, mealtimes, and daily routines to ensure their safety and well-being.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication skills.
Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to parents and team members to support individual development plans.
Assist in the organisation of nursery activities, outings, and events, ensuring all health and safety protocols are adhered to.
Experience
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development theories.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with children, parents, and colleagues.
Experience with organising activities or programmes that enhance children's learning experiences.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.75-13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
