Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. Applicants should have experience with children and a background in childcare or nursery settings.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through personalised care and guidance Supervise and oversee daily routines, including meal times, play, rest periods, and learning sessions Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment in compliance with health and safety regulations Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and wellbeing Assist with administrative duties such as record keeping, planning documentation, and reporting

Qualifications

Proven experience working with children within nursery or childcare settings Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development stages Demonstrated management and leadership abilities within a childcare environment Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Childcare qualifications recognised within the UK (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare) or equivalent Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team whilst demonstrating leadership qualities Passionate about early years education with a caring attitude towards young children
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 32 per week

Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Level 3 Early Years qualification (preferred)
