We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our vibrant childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children within a nurturing environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a genuine interest in early childhood education and childcare, aiming to foster positive learning experiences for young children. The role involves working closely with colleagues, managing daily activities, and ensuring a safe, engaging space for children to thrive.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Supervise and support children during playtime, mealtimes, and organised activities to ensure safety and engagement.
Foster a warm, inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and independence among children.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines in compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop programmes that meet individual needs and organisational goals.
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
Uphold high standards of health, safety, and hygiene within the nursery setting.
Experience
Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
Management or leadership experience within a childcare environment is advantageous but not essential.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with colleagues and parents.
Experience with organising activities that support early learning milestones.

5 days per week - 37.5 hours - All year round
Between 8am and 5pm
Hourly rate : 12.30 (dependent on age) in line with National Minimum Wage
