Hours: 38 Hours Per Week (Set Pattern of Mon 8am-6pm, Tues 8am-4pm, Weds 8am-6pm & Thursday 8am-6pm)

Setting: Private setting with up to 36 children per day across 3 rooms from 0 - 5 years

Nanny McFiFi's are seeking a dedicated, Level-3 qualified Early Years Educator to join our warm and friendly team. The successful candidate will provide high quality care and learning experiences for children, supporting their development in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, contribute to planning and assessment, and build strong relationships with children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Support each child's individual development, following their interests, needs and next steps.
Use observations and assessments to plan meaningful activities and record children's progress.
Maintain a warm, inclusive and positive environment that encourages curiosity, independence and wellbeing.
Ensure the safety, welfare and supervision of children at all times.
Follow safeguarding policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
Promote healthy routines including hygiene, nutrition, rest and outdoor play.
Work effectively within a small, supportive team and contribute to a positive work culture.
Communicate professionally with parents and carers, sharing progress and supporting strong home-setting partnerships.
Attend staff meetings, training sessions and take part in continuous professional development.
Help maintain clean, organised and well-resourced learning environments.
Assist with daily routines including meals, transitions and setting-up/clearing-away activities.
Follow all health and safety policies, risk assessments and organisational procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (essential)
Experience working in an Early Years setting (essential)
Sound knowledge of the EYFS and best practice in early childhood education
Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills
A caring, enthusiastic and child-centred approach
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
In date Pediatric First Aid certificate (desirable) or willingness to attend training course
