Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Duties

Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development Supervise and support children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages curiosity and learning Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and organise group activities Ensure health and safety standards are consistently met and adhered to Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and wellbeing Manage daily administrative tasks related to childcare operations Support the professional development of team members through leadership and management responsibilities

Skills

Proven experience working with children in nursery or early childhood settings Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage children and liaise confidently with parents Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and nurturing qualities essential for working with young children Organised with strong planning skills to develop engaging programmes tailored to individual needs Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating initiative when required

Pay: 16,246.64-33,019.30 per year
