Job Description

Chantrey House Nursery & Pre-school are looking for a qualified level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our team. Caring for children from 3 months old to 5 years old.

Duties include;

- Follow policies and procedures including safeguarding and health and safety requirements.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in the early years age group.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Work in a team, having respect for others and collaborating with the staff.
- Work in partnership with parents and carers to ensure the positive well-being and development of each child.
- Have an inclusive, kind and polite attitude, meeting the needs of every child in the nursery.

- Complete records and safety checks

Skills
- Strong knowledge of child development and care of young children.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to create engaging and stimulating learning experiences for children.
- Patience, empathy, and understanding of children's needs.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Ability to work well under pressure and problem solve
- Organizational skills to plan activities and manage time effectively.

As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in the growth and development of young children. You will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment where children can explore, discover, and develop their skills. Your passion for working with children, combined with your knowledge of child development, will contribute to the success of our early years program.

Please note candidates must hold a relevant and recognised level 3 qualification in Childcare care and development.

DBS checks will be completed for the member of staff who is successful.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
