Preschool Assistant -qualified Level 3 in Early Years and must have worked in a preschool or Nursery

Little Pippins Preschool are seeking a enthusiastic, passionate person who is flexible, crazy, and doesn't mind acting like a child each day, to come and join our team in a lively and engaging preschool.

We are prepared to support and train the right candidate to what we expect from all staff within the setting and the way we teach.

The position is to work Monday to Friday and staff can be expected to work between the hours of 7.45-6.15. The exact hours to be confirmed. This would be all year round on a variable hours contract so working 30hr Term time only. This can be working with children 1 years and 11 years old in our Afterschool club provision and in our Holiday club with children aged 3-9 years old.

Our staff maybe required to work extra days as required by the setting manager to cover holiday club and staff absences.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education to children in a nursery setting, ensuring their safety and well-being. Develop and implement engaging activities that promote early childhood development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive environment. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development. Collaborate with team members to create a positive learning atmosphere. Assist in managing daily operations and support leadership initiatives within the nursery.
