We are looking for a fun, enthusiastic, knowledgeable Early Years Practitioner to work in our busy, vibrant setting In Walberton, Near Arundel, West Sussex.
You will assist with all day to day activities in the Playcentre under the direction of the Playcentre Manager and Deputies and provide quality play opportunities within the framework of EYFS and the Playcentre's policies and procedures.
Responsibilities will include:
Planning, setting up and clearing away activities in consultation with the senior management team.
Observing, planning for, and recording children's progression within the EYFS.
Communicating well with children, staff, parents and carers; to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all within a friendly environment.
Management and staff, including students and volunteers.
Schools and registering authorities.
The ideal person will have a Level 3 Qualification in Early Years/Childcare with experience of working with children aged 0-11 years. We may consider a Level 2 Practitioner depending on experience.
37 hours a week, all year, to be worked in a Shift Pattern between 07.15 and 18.15 weekdays.
