Main duties and responsibilities
To be an excellent Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
To support classes with flair, kindness and skill.
To ensure the care and well-being of children.
To support the personal care of children.
To report any Safeguarding concerns in the correct manner.
To support the preparation of spaces, resources for lessons thoroughly.
To support teacher assessment through children's learning.
To lead small groups independently.
To support children with additional needs, with guidance.
To work efficiently with all other adults in the team.
To liaise with class teachers.
To communicate effectively with parents.
To leave classroom areas in good order and assist with upkeep.
To understand and adhere to school Health and Safety requirements.
To cover play time and lunchtime supervision daily.
To take on specific tasks or duties that may be reasonably assigned by the Head teacher, depending on experience.
To embrace and develop the vision, ethos and policies of the school.
To take on other tasks or duties that may be reasonably assigned by the Head teacher.
To be flexible and ready for necessary changes to schedules.
To maintain a positive ethos.

Salary: FTE 24,690 Actual:
Contract Type: 15,084.58
Working Pattern: Mon - Fri 8.30 - 3.00 (45 mins of unpaid breaks)
Location: Glebe Primary School
Interviews: Date to TBC (not 7th July)
What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to: Level 3 NVQ in Early Years. Experience of working with young children.
