7:00am to 7:00pm
, offering
flexible shifts
to support a healthy work-life balance. We also understand the challenges of childcare --
staff with children are welcome to make use of our after-school services
if needed.
Key Responsibilities
Provide
high-quality care and education
in line with the
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
framework.
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
Maintain a
safe, clean, and stimulating environment
where children can explore, learn, and grow.
Observe, assess, and record
children's progress to support individual learning journeys.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
, offering regular updates and addressing concerns professionally.
Work collaboratively with colleagues
to ensure a consistent and supportive approach across the setting.
Support management
in maintaining compliance with all nursery policies, safeguarding procedures, and Ofsted regulations.
Skills and Qualifications
Level 3 qualification
in Early Years Education or Childcare (or equivalent) is essential.
Proven
experience working with children
in a nursery or early years setting.
Sound understanding of
EYFS principles and early years best practices
.
Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills
in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to
work effectively as part of a team
, while showing initiative and responsibility.
Strong organisational skills
with a proactive, positive approach.
A
valid driving licence
is desirable for potential off-site activities or training sessions.
