Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our Curiosity Approach Accredited Setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of young children, following our curriculum; 'Creating Tomorrow's Thinkers.'

Duties

Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Plan and implement engaging provocations that support children's learning and development across all areas. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community. Observe and assess children's progress, to help inform planning and share with parents. Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning, adhering to health and safety regulations. Support the management team in maintaining high standards of care and education within the nursery setting. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and well-being.

Requirements

Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare (Level 3). Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential. An interest in the Curiosity Approach Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English. A genuine passion for childcare and understanding of child development principles. Ability to drive is advantageous for potential off-site activities or training sessions. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on best practices in early years education.
