Job Description

We are looking for someone to work effectively as part of our team, working in our Under 2 year old room, and ensure all daily activities are conducted in a way which provides a happy, stimulating and secure learning environment for the children.

Full-time position, working 4 days per week, 38 hours between Monday to Friday. We are open 7.30am to 6.30pm. Closed Bank Holidays, and the period in-between Christmas and New Year.

A few of our expectations of a new member of staff would be:

To understand and adhere to all the nursery's polices and procedures. In particular to be able to work with babies and toddlers, from 3 months to 2 years. Be able to communicate well with children, staff and parent's, building up good, strong, relationships with everyone. Take on responsibilities, show initiative and support others where needed. To be able to keep records on children's development and learning. Be positive and have a genuine enthusiasm towards the work. Excellent at time keeping and have an extremely good attendance record.
Level 3 in childcare, experience with under 2 year olds.

The hourly rate will depend on your experience within the sector.

A DBS check and appropriate references will be required before starting.
