We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Responsibilities
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning, socialisation, and development in line with early childhood education standards
Supervise and monitor children's behaviour, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment at all times
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines
Support children's emotional well-being and individual needs with patience and understanding
Assist in organising daily schedules, meal times, and rest periods in accordance with nursery policies
Contribute to the organisation of nursery events and activities to enhance children's learning experiences
Uphold health and safety regulations, including hygiene standards and safeguarding procedures
Demonstrate leadership by guiding junior staff members when necessary and contributing to team meetings
Experience
Previous experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting is highly desirable
Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices
Proven management skills with the ability to lead a team effectively
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Experience in childcare or nursery management roles is advantageous
Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation needs if required by the role
