We're looking to recruit a highly motivated and passionate childcare practitioner to work within our busy nursery setting. Candidates need to be confident to promote and provide a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment and help support our children to reach their full potential.

All applicants for this post must have:

As a minimum - a Level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification, but if you have additional qualifications too then that's great Good knowledge of the EYFS & experience of using it while observing children Enthusiasm and passion about their role as a childcare practitioner and be able to provides lots of fun and varied learning opportunities for children of all ages, including following children's individual interests An Enhanced DBS certificate and a minimum of two references - including current or last employer Be fully flexible with regards to days and hours working each week
Driving licence preferred but not applicable

Applicants must be able to work Mon - Fri between the hours of 7am until 6.00 pm on either full days or half days (demand depending). One position is for term time only.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting, ensuring their safety and well-being. Develop and implement engaging learning activities that promote early childhood development. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs. Support and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to children's development and attendance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
