We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Baby-room Practitioner to join our nurturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and early childhood education, with the ability to manage and communicate effectively with both children and parents. This role involves creating a safe, stimulating environment for infants and toddlers, ensuring their developmental needs are met while fostering a love for learning.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care for babies in the nursery, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities.
Manage daily routines, including feeding, changing, and nap times, in a calm and organised manner.
Observe and assess children's development, documenting milestones and any concerns.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team environment that prioritises the needs of the children.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
Skills
Strong knowledge of childcare principles and early childhood education practices.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
Leadership qualities to guide less experienced staff members when necessary.
