We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. Duties
Deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote children's development across all areas.
Supervise children during play, mealtimes, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times.
Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities in accordance with nursery policies.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's development and daily routines.
Support colleagues in organising the nursery environment to ensure it is safe, stimulating, and well-maintained.
Assist with the planning of educational programmes aligned with early childhood education standards.
Uphold health and safety regulations, including hygiene protocols and safeguarding procedures.
Experience
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Previous nursery experience demonstrating the ability to deliver engaging activities tailored to various age groups.
Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are preferred.
