Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our team. This role is to ensuring the smooth operation of our setting, particularly in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a passion for early childhood education. You will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, managing staff, and ensuring that all children receive the highest level of care.

Duties

Supervise and support staff members to ensure effective teamwork and high-quality childcare. Lead daily operations, including planning and implementing educational activities for children. Foster a positive environment that encourages children's development and learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations within the facility. Assist in training new staff members on best practices in childcare and nursery operations. Address any issues or emergencies that may arise promptly and efficiently.

Qualifications

Level 3 Childcare or above is essential Proven experience within a childcare setting. Experience working with children, including nursery experience or childcare qualifications. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. A passion for nurturing children's growth and development.
