About the Role



We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced

Tutor/Assessor

to deliver the

Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship Standard

. The ideal candidate will have strong industry experience in leadership or management roles and a proven ability to support apprentices in developing practical and theoretical skills aligned with the standard.

You will be responsible for planning, teaching, assessing, and supporting learners throughout their apprenticeship journey -- ensuring timely progress, high-quality learning, and successful achievement of qualifications and End-Point Assessment (EPA).

Key Responsibilities



Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment for Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor apprenticeships. Support learners in developing knowledge, skills, and behaviours required by the apprenticeship standard. Conduct regular progress reviews and provide constructive feedback to drive learner improvement. Prepare learners for End-Point Assessment (EPA) through structured planning, mock assessments, and portfolio development. Work collaboratively with employers to ensure training is aligned with workplace roles and business needs. Track learner progress via e-portfolio systems (e.g., OneFile) and ensure accurate, timely documentation. Embed Functional Skills (Maths, English, and Digital Skills) and Personal Development within delivery. Promote safeguarding, Prevent, British values, equality, diversity, and inclusion in all sessions. Maintain professional and awarding-body standards to meet Ofsted, ESFA, and quality-assurance requirements.

Essential Requirements



Occupational experience in leadership, supervision, or management roles (minimum 2-3 years). Recognised teaching or assessing qualification (e.g., CAVA, TAQA, A1, D32/D33, or equivalent). Experience delivering Team Leader/Supervisor or similar management apprenticeships (Level 3+). Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards, EPA requirements, and work-based learning. Excellent communication, organisational, and digital skills. Ability to motivate, coach, and support diverse learners.

Desirable Requirements



Experience with e-portfolio systems (e.g., OneFile). Functional Skills delivery experience (Maths/English). IQA qualification (or willingness to work towards). Knowledge of current ESFA funding and Ofsted Education Inspection Framework (EIF).
