Are you passionate about early years education? Do you thrive in a warm and nurturing environment? We are looking for an enthusiastic Level 3 Qualified Toddler Room Leader to join our friendly team in our small toddler room, caring for up to 15 children per day.

As our Toddler Room Leader, you will take the lead in creating a safe, stimulating and engaging environment where toddlers can explore, learn and grow. You will oversee the daily running of the room, support staff, and ensure the highest standards of care and learning.

What We're Looking For:

A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent). Experience as a room leader or the ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills. Strong understanding of child development, the EYFS framework, and SEN knowledge to support a range of needs. A warm, nurturing approach and genuine love for supporting toddlers. Excellent communication with children, parents and staff. Organised, confident, and able to lead by example.
Essential Requirements:

Level 3 or above Childcare qualification.

An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to complete one).

Paediatric First Aid training (or willingness to complete this).

Two professional references.

Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support the toddler room team in a room of up to 15 children. Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning and development. Ensure high standards of care, safety and wellbeing at all times. Support children with additional needs using strong SEN awareness and strategies. Maintain accurate observations, assessments and developmental records. Build strong, positive relationships with families. Create a fun, inclusive and inspiring environment for children and staff.

Working hours will be between 37.5 and 40 hours per week over 5 days, Monday-Friday. Between the hours of 7.30am - 5.30pm on rota.
