Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills.

Responsibilities

Create and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and ensure a collaborative approach to childcare. Manage classroom behaviour by establishing clear expectations and providing positive reinforcement. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement. Drive initiatives that promote inclusivity and diversity within the learning environment. Maintain a safe and clean nursery space, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of early years education. Provide leadership support within the team, mentoring less experienced staff as needed.

Experience

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with children and parents. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom dynamics and foster positive relationships among children. A proactive approach to professional development, with a willingness to learn new techniques and methodologies in early years education.

Job Type: Apprenticeship

Pay: 17,000.00-28,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
