LTSB is a social mobility charity and we've partnered with NatWest Group to connect young people from underserved backgrounds with brilliant apprenticeship opportunities.
We are offering places on our 12-day interactive course where you will receive employability training, interaction with NatWest Group staff and Q&A sessions, gain insight into the culture at NatWest Group and other employers, interview prep work and advice from previous LTSB students on their apprenticeships.
Everybody who completes our course is guaranteed an interview for an apprenticeship at NatWest!
Educated at a state school (non fee-paying)
Live in Edinburgh
Received free school meals and/or require additional support to access careers
National 5 qualifications and Higher (or equivalent) in a STEM related field.
You won't be able to join the programme if you have the same or equivalent qualification in a similar field. This may include a related apprenticeship, a university degree or a role in which you may have developed similar skills.
LTSB will continue to support successful candidates until roles commence in the autumn, and then for the first year of your career.
The Job
Supports the delivery and engineering of software solutions to deliver value for our colleagues and customers
Delivers new and or changes to existing software or infrastructure applications / platforms
Communicates and collaborates with stakeholders across the Domain, including Production Manager, Domain Lead, Deployment Manager and Feature Teams to ensure the deliveries meet their expectations
Build Develop & maintain robust and high-performance front and backend data processing applications.
Work with the business areas to identify and suggest improvements to our application estate
You'll be part of one or more feature teams / scrum team supporting their application development requirements
