We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team, providing a safe and engaging environment for children to learn and play. Duties
Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play.
Manage behaviour effectively, using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good conduct.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress and any concerns.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of play areas, ensuring all equipment is safe and suitable for use.
Drive initiatives that support children's development in areas such as teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving.
Skills
Strong background in childcare or early childhood education is preferred.
Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is advantageous.
Excellent leadership skills to guide children effectively during activities.
Ability to communicate clearly with children, parents, and colleagues.
A proactive approach to managing groups of children while fostering an inclusive atmosphere.
Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication.
