LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) Driver - 04:00-06:00 starts based Stoke on Trent

Pay Rate:

42,891

based on a 48 hour week

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday - MUST be able to cover start times between 04:00-06:00

Location: Stoke on Trent, ST4 4EX

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver / Shunter to play a vital role in our distribution service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:



Work pattern Monday to Friday - start times between 04:00-06:00
Mixture of retail store deliveries, trunking, salvage collection and shunting as required

Manual work using pump trucks or electric pallet trucks to complete deliveries

Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations


Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

o You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card


Have a minimum of 2 years commercial 'on the road' LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) driving experience

Have previous store delivery experience using double deck trailers

Live locally to Stoke on Trent ST4 4EX
