SHIPLEY TRANSPORT SERVICES

Due the continued growth and success of the business, we are seeking to recruit a Class 2 LGV Driver to carry out pallet network deliveries in the Bradford, Halifax and Huddersfield areas, as well as serving our own customer base with deliveries and collections.

If you are willing to have 1 or 2 nights out per week this would also be advantageous.

You must be flexible.

A Vehicle Mounted FLT Licence licence would be advantageous but not essential. You will be allocated your own truck and will receive a comprehensive induction and training.

Salary: 35,000 to 42,000 per year depending on hours worked, plus 26.20 nights out and 10 per day meal allowance and up to 250 per month Bonus scheme.

A Moffett driver would also receive 35 per day if used.

The roles are full-time and permanent.

Typical week at 55 hours (51.25 paid)

47.5 Hours basic 617.50

3.75 hours overtime 56.25

5 x meal allowance 50 (tax free)

Total before tax 723.75

Role and Responsibilities of our LGV Class 2 Driver

Carry out multi-drop deliveries in the local area. 15 or more deliveries a day. Undertake a mix of short and longer-distance work Ensure load security at all time Help with loading and unloading during deliveries at our customers' premises Follow, promote and communicate the use of safe working practices in line with all relevant Health and Safety Legislation and Company's procedures Demonstrate an effective working relationship with colleagues and customers, showing a pro-active approach to resolving any potential issues Be an ambassador of the company image by maintaining a customer focused approach to service

Qualifications of our LGV Class 2 Driver

Applicants must hold a valid Cat C Licence and Digital Tachograph card

Up-to-date CPC

Good understanding of Maths, English and UK geography Eligibility to work in the UK
