Schenk UK formally known as Suttons Tankers are an innovative national tanker haulage business, that operates a nationwide road tanker fleet which has been successfully serving the chemicals, gas, fuels, waste, and powders sectors for over 60 years, and is the largest chemical transporter in the UK.


The Role:


We are looking for an experienced LGV Driver (Class 1 ADR Preferred but not essential) to join our team based at our Willenhall depot, working Monday - Friday - (Tramper)


Pay Rates:


13.85 per hour


Overtime hours at 20.78 after 8 hours per shift Monday to Friday


38.89 per night out


20.78 per hour for the first 5 hours on a Saturday then any additional hours at 27.70 per hour


27.70 per hour paid for Sunday shifts


27.70 per hour paid Bank Holidays plus Standard Bank holiday pay


45 hours guarantee


FULLY PAID BREAKS and paid ADR & CPC Refreshers


Essential Requirements:


An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points


A tachograph card


A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)


A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation


A safety focus


Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience


Minimum 2 years Tanker Experience


In addition, overtime is available, CPC training hours, courses and CPC accreditation and driver medicals are all paid for. Full PPE is provided.
