LGV Driver/Poling Team Operative

- The role to deliver telecom services for commercial or residential customers on the UK's National Telecom Access Network

Cumberland Comms has been providing highly trained resource to the telecoms industry for over 2 decades. You will have the opportunity to become a valued member with a key role in the Company, and will also have the opportunity to take on a Level 2 Telecoms Field Operative Apprenticeship

The candidate

Those who are successful will gain the knowledge and skills to confidently install telegraph poles, test and certify fibre cable installations whilst working to the correct standards and best practices

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to fast track their career with on-the-job learning, working towards industry recognised qualifications, whilst gaining valuable onsite training

Must be able to attend the office in Beverley (HU17) daily

Requirements

Must hold an LGV Class 2 Licence

Safety conscious

An excellent standard of work

Good time keeping and attendance

Confidence at heights

Excellent communication skills

A good standard of customer service

Risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety practices

Must always represent the company in a positive manner

Must be happy to work mainly outdoors

Be a team player who can work using your own initiative
