Are you customer-focussed, have a passion for working with people and an interest in library services and digital resources? Based in the Bibliographic Services department at Library HQ in Northallerton you will support the delivery of frontline library and information services, working alongside staff and volunteers, to ensure a high-quality service.
You will cover a wide range of duties in relation to stock acquisitions, answering enquiries from customers by email and phone (including assisting customers to access online information and resources), library management system reports and performance databases. You will be passionate about reading, have excellent communication skills, the ability to work within a team including volunteers, the ability to deliver a customer-focussed service and have literacy, numeracy and ICT equivalent to Level 2. Please note this role involves some manual handling.
