Job Description
GCM are a specialist demolition contractor based in central Scotland providing services to high profile blue chip clients across the industry. We have specific expertise in high risk environments undertaking a wide range of complex deconstruction activities from petrochemical plant decommissioning within live environments to city centre building destructs. Due to continued expansion, we are now recruiting for experienced Asbestos Removal Operatives to join our rapidly growing team.
To carry out asbestos removal works on a variety of projects
To ensure all works carried out are in line with RAMS and plan of works
To work in accordance with regulatory requirements as well as GCM Services policies and procedures
To undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by your Contract Manager
Key Skills/Qualifications required
Minimum 1 years experience working as an Asbestos Removal Operative To hold and provide at interview the following certification/accreditations: Licensed Asbestos training certificate Asbestos Medical certificate RPE Face Fit certificate CSCS Card Excellent knowledge of current Health & Safety and Asbestos regulations. The ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst remaining calm and professional under pressure. Full UK driving licence.
